ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Field Supervisor, you will lead a survey crew and perform field survey work for construction, pipeline, oil and gas, land development, and legal surveying projects. You will oversee the surveying process in the field, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with established standards and procedures.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Lead a field crew and promote transparent communication, teamwork, and accountability.
- Perform field surveys and oversee field activities from planning through completion.
- Coordinate with Project Managers and clients regarding priorities, timelines, budgets, and survey methods.
- Prepare accurate field notes, sketches, checklists, and digital data for project teams.
- Coach and train Field Assistants through hands-on guidance and feedback.
- Complete required field documentation, safety assessments, and administrative tasks.
- Ensure vehicles and survey equipment are used, stored, and maintained appropriately.
- Build positive relationships with clients,



landowners, and other project stakeholders.

WHAT YOU BRING

- Diploma or Degree in Geomatics, Surveying, or a related discipline.
- Field surveying experience, ideally within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of field survey practices, equipment, and data collection.
- The ability to lead, coach, and motivate others.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to safety, accuracy, and quality.
- The ability to manage changing priorities without compromising the quality of your work.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and willingness to travel.
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather, terrain, and environmental conditions.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to successfully complete required pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
