Job Overview
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods. The role involves supervising warehouse staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, meeting operational targets, and ensuring compliance with company safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse employees.
- Assign tasks and schedules to warehouse staff based on operational requirements.
- Manage receiving, storage, picking, packing, loading, and dispatch operations.
- Prepare customer orders and ensure products are picked, packed, and shipped accurately.
- Keep warehouse errors to a minimum
- Coordinate delivery driver schedules and communicate with drivers, customers, and internal departments.
- Ensure customer stock orders are delivered within established guidelines
- Ensure all orders and transfers are picked and posted by days end
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records.
- Conduct and support cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Monitor employee performance, productivity, attendance, and adherence to procedures.
- Train and coach employees on warehouse processes, equipment, and safety requirements.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and company policies.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, and shipping or receiving errors.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and proper storage for efficient use of space
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce errors, and control operational costs.
- Ensure forklifts, material-handling equipment, and warehouse facilities are used safely and properly maintained.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of warehouse procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
- Communicate with suppliers, customers,
and transportation providers regarding shipments and deliveries.
- Communicate with order desk staff as required regarding backorders, problems or issues with deliveries and order concerns
- Communicate problems and feedback to Operations Manager
- Perform other warehouse and logistics duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2 years previous supervisory experience
- 2 years previous warehouse or distribution experience
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Good knowledge of inventory control and warehouse procedures
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand and walk for long periods
- Able to regularly lift, carry, push and pull items
- Able to lift 75 lbs regularly throughout the day

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
