Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to lead and oversee the operations of our high-volume consumer electronics processing center, situated within our logistics partner facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective processing of electronic product returns, managing a dedicated team, and collaborating closely with various stakeholders to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Oversight:

· Direction and oversight related to the day-to-day operations of the Electronics Return Center.

· Implement and optimize return processes to ensure timely and accurate handling of electronic products.

· Establish refurbishment, repair, grading, and recovery processes that maximize asset recovery and customer satisfaction.

· Develop short- and long-term forecasts for return volumes, refurbishment workloads, labor requirements, parts consumption, and facility capacity.

2. Team Management:

· Build and lead a high-performing team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.

· Own the operational relationship with the 3PL partner, including performance management, contract compliance, service delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Establish and review operational scorecards, KPIs, and SLAs with 3PL leadership.

· Conduct regular performance audits and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

3. Collaboration:

· Work closely with logistics partners to maintain solid relationships and ensure seamless integration of return center operations within the overall supply chain.





· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues, streamline processes, and enhance customer satisfaction.

4. Quality Assurance:

· Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and condition of returned electronic products.

· Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain high-quality standards.

5. Continuous Improvement

· Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and process optimization initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and turnaround times.

· Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks through data-driven analysis.

· Champion a culture of continuous improvement throughout the operation

6. Data Analysis and Reporting:

· Utilize data analytics to assess key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.

· Generate regular reports on return center performance and present findings to leadership.

Key Qualifications:

1. Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.

· 8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, reverse logistics, refurbishment, repair, or warehouse management.

2. Experience:

· Proven experience in program or operations management, particularly in electronics or consumer goods industries.





· Experience with reverse logistics, refurbishment, repair depot, returns processing, or asset recovery programs.

· Experience within consumer electronics, small appliances, telecommunications, or product refurbishment environments strongly preferred.

· Previous experience overseeing high volume return center operations is highly desirable.

3. Leadership Skills:

· Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.

· Experience in leading teams within a logistics or warehouse environment.

4. Communication and Collaboration:

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.

5. Problem Solving:

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

· Experience implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiencies.

6. Technical Knowledge:

· Familiarity with electronic products and their return and refurbishment processes.

· Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for data analysis and reporting.

7. Adaptability:

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changes and challenges as they arise.
