Field Supervisor - Site Services, Cote Gold Mine Site

Location: Côté Gold Mine Site, Gogama, ON

Pay Range: CA$42.00–$52.00 per hour

Schedule: 14 days on, 14 days off (12-hour shifts)

About the Role and the Site

Flying Post Camp & Logistics provides site services at the Côté Gold Mine, one of Canada's larger gold mining operations. We're hiring a Field Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day work of our Site Services team – janitorial staff, labourers, and equipment operators.

This is a hands-on, field-level supervisory role. You'll organize daily work, keep the team focused on safety and quality, and be the person people turn to when something needs sorting out on site. You'll be counted on to keep Site Services running smoothly day-to-day, coordinating labourers, equipment operators, and janitorial staff through demanding day or night shifts.

The work takes place mainly outdoors and in a remote camp setting, on 12-hour shifts. Camp accommodations include meals, Wi-Fi, and basic recreational facilities. Bus transportation to and from the site is provided from Sudbury and Timmins – you'll need reliable transportation of your own to get to the pick-up point.

What You'll Do

- Supervise service work, road maintenance, snow removal, janitorial services, and special projects.
- Oversee Site Services team members, including labourers, equipment operators, and janitorial staff.
- Assign and prioritize daily work for the team.




- Monitor safety practices and ensure compliance with site regulations and OHSA requirements.
- Track equipment condition, report deficiencies, and coordinate preventative maintenance.
- Respond promptly to work delays, incidents, and emergencies.
- Liaise with the client (IAMGOLD) and coordinate with subcontractors as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization across the worksite.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2–3 years of relevant field experience preferred.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience operating heavy equipment (certifications an asset).
- Familiar with various equipment types: graders, loaders, dump trucks, backhoes, winter sanders, LVTs, and water trucks.
- Working knowledge of preventative maintenance and equipment troubleshooting.
- Valid G-Class driver's licence with a clean driving record; a driving abstract is required as a condition of hire.
- Knowledge of and compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations and site safety protocols.
