Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines such as lathes and milling machines to produce precision components. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency in CNC programming, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints. The ideal candidate will contribute to efficient production processes by ensuring high-quality output, adhering to safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties

- Tasks include offsets, cycle time reductions, and conduct continuous improvements
- Measure and monitor quality assurance of products, procedures and processes
- Reading drawings/blueprints per work order to determine set up, material required, and specifications
- Work quickly and accurately - close attention to details is essential
- Maintain and clean and secure workspace
- Following all Health and Safety policies and procedures
- All other duties assigned by Supervisor

Requirments

- 1-3 years experience operating CNC machines
- Valid FL and crane operator experience is an asset




- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated and driven individual looking to take initiative
- Physical work (i.e. lifting, bending, standing for extended periods of time)
- Paying close attention to detail is essential
- Attendance is critical to the success of the department
- Comfortable working with a team environment
- Verbal and written communication skills
