If you miss having a scoreboard, coaching, teammates, competition, and something measurable to improve at every day, this environment will feel familiar.

This is not a desk job. You’ll be outside, talking to homeowners, developing your sales skills, competing on the leaderboard, and getting better every day.

Before You Apply

This is a 100% in-person, door-to-door, commission-only sales position in Edmonton.

You must currently live in Edmonton or the surrounding area, or be relocating to Edmonton imminently.

You must also be comfortable working full-time in the field Monday through Saturday.

Firefly runs individual and team-based sales competitions with real rewards for top performers.

Past incentives and prizes have included:

- International sales trips, including all-inclusive trips to destinations such as Mexico and Peru
- Company-wide bracket-style sales competitions
- Cash prizes and performance bonuses
- YETI coolers, snowboards, clothing, company swag, electronics and other prizes
- Major team competitions — this year’s Apex competition awarded a $25,000 grand prize to the winning 10-person team

If you’re used to competing for championships, tournaments, medals or a spot on the starting lineup, you’ll have something to compete for here too.

Compensation

This position is 100% commission.

- Commission: $0.20 per watt on funded deals
- Typical residential solar system: approximately 7 kW
- Typical commission on a funded deal: approximately $1,400
- Strong producers can earn $5,000–$10,000+ per month

There is no income ceiling.

The Honest Part

Door-to-door sales is demanding.

You’ll hear “no.” You’ll work outside. Your activity and production are measured every day, and you are responsible for showing up consistently.

If you need someone constantly chasing you to work, this probably won’t be a fit.

Requirements

- Must live in Edmonton or the immediate surrounding area
- Must be able to work in person, this is not remote or hybrid
- Must be available full-time Monday through Saturday
- Must be comfortable working door-to-door outdoors
- Must be comfortable with a 100% commission compensation structure
- Reliable transportation throughout Edmonton and surrounding communities is strongly preferred
