Job Title: Journeyman Millwright – Conveyor Belt Installation

True North Labour is seeking a high-caliber Journeyman Millwright specializing in conveyor belt installation in Edmonton, AB. We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and safety-driven professional who takes pride in their work and can perform mechanical installation duties with minimal supervision.

This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, mechanically inclined, and confident working in quick-paced industrial site environments.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Perform conveyor belt installation, assembly, alignment, and mechanical setup with accuracy and efficiency
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyor systems and related production line equipment
- Assist with the installation, alignment, and fine-tuning of industrial machinery
- Support day-to-day site operations to ensure installation schedules are met smoothly
- Follow all safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and collaborate effectively with the team

What We’re Looking For:

- Minimum of Journeyman Millwright status or equivalent mechanical trade experience
- Direct experience with conveyor belt installation and mechanical equipment assembly
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on site
- Proven ability to execute jobs safely and enforce on-site safety standards without direct supervision

Mandatory Requirements:





- WHMIS 2015 certification
- Must be legally permitted to work in Canada
- High level of reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
- Mandatory PPE (Hard hat, Hi-visibility safety vest, Steel-toe boots)

Multiple shifts are available:

- Day Shift: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
- Evening Shift: 4:00 pm - 12:00 am
- Graveyard Shift: 12:00 am - 8:00 am
- Monday-Sunday - Full/Part-time shifts available (for approx. 6 weeks)
