Position Summary:

We are looking for a full-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The role involves assisting with prescription filling and day-to-day pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and provides excellent customer service. Pharmacy experience is an asset. Afternoon and Saturday availability is required, along with a commitment to long-term employment. Preference will be given to candidates who live nearby.

What you will do:

- Receive prescriptions from patients, assess prescriptions for completeness and accuracy.

- Assist in the daily operations of the pharmacy (including but not limited to answering phone calls, communicating with colleagues and patients, and arranging deliveries).

- Manage inventory by ordering, receiving orders and organizing inventory.

- General housekeeping including filing,



maintaining filling supplies (e.g. vials stocks), keeping a clean neat dispensary, and keeping a safe work environment.

- Other duties as assigned by the pharmacy manager/the pharmacist on duty.

Qualifications:

- Experience in fillware is an asset.

- Fluency in English.

- Able to work under pressure in a energetic environment and within a team.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Excellent computer skills.
