POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Cook, you’ll work alongside our kitchen team to prepare and execute food during service while maintaining high standards for quality, consistency, cleanliness, and food safety. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a small, dynamic team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and cook food to recipe and quality standards
- Assist with prep and daily kitchen tasks
- Execute dishes efficiently and consistently during service
- Maintain proper portion control and presentation
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Keep workstations and kitchen areas clean and organized
- Assist with receiving, storage, and proper rotation of ingredients
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Help maintain a positive and respectful kitchen environment
- Support other kitchen duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous kitchen experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
- Strong understanding of basic food preparation and cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Reliable, responsible, and team-oriented
- Good communication skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workstation
- FoodSafe certification is an asset
- Adaptable availability, including evenings and weekends
