Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hospital setting and a solid background in patient care, particularly with pediatric populations. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive functioning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care and effective case management.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and strategies for daily living.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.




- Stay informed about medical terminology and acute care practices to provide the highest standard of care.

Requirements

- A valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice.
- Previous hospital experience is preferred, with a focus on acute care settings.
- Strong knowledge of case management principles and practices.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
- Proficient understanding of medical terminology related to occupational therapy.

Pay: $40.00-$80.00 per hour
