We’re looking for a motivated and customer-driven Sales Consultant to support our Red Wing in Barrie team. This role combines hands-on sales, outstanding customer service, and operational excellence. You’ll serve as a product expert and trusted advisor for both walk-in customers and industrial accounts.

What You’ll Do

- Ensure a welcoming environment, delivering a qualified, engaging shopping experience.
- Drive sales performance and be an active and collaborative team member ensuring the delivery of in-depth product knowledge and service standards that are the core of our value.
- Learn and promote Red Wing’s full line, including safety, outdoor and fashion footwear and accessories.
- Conduct tailored in-store visits and off-site activations to expand and support business relationships.
- Accurately process transactions and oversee POS operations.
- Communicate promotions, product benefits, and features clearly to boost sales.
- Manage daily operations, including organization, merchandising, and cleanliness.
- Perform hands-on tasks such as repairs & cleaning boots, applying add-on products such as protective coatings, and maintaining store standards.
- Provide courteous support for phone and online inquiries.
- This is primarily a weekend postion(Saturday & Sunday) with some weeknights as required.

What You Bring





- 1-3 years of personalized/high-touch sales engagement within a tailored retail enviroment (footwear or industrial sales preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate within a dynamic team, have meaningful and engaging conversations with consumers; all in support of the stores delivery of our tailored value selling strategy.
- Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills.
- Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office, Canva, and POS systems.
- Understanding of safety footwear and/or outdoor sporting, angling, and outdoorsmanship footwear is a strong asset.
- Organized, adaptable, and comfortable working independently.
- Bilingual ability (English + other language) is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for off-site visits.
- Willingness to take on physical day-to-day store tasks, including but not limited to lifting up to 20kgs and climbing stockroom ladders.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
