Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our finance A/P team consisting of 5-8 team members. This pivotal role involves overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting operations, proficiency with various accounting software, and a passion for driving financial excellence within a vibrant organization.

Duties

- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Ensure accurate account reconciliation and perform detailed account analysis to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
- Utilize accounting software to maintain precise financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with established accounting standards.
- Develop and monitor budgets, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.




- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently while coordinating with external auditors as needed.

Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience as an Accounting Manager or similar leadership role within an accounting environment.
- Strong proficiency with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, account reconciliation, account analysis, and financial reporting standards.
- Experience managing accounts payable, payroll processing, and budgeting processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional certification such as CPA is preferred but not mandatory.
