Role OverviewAdvisory Board Members – Energy & Renewables at APMAC serve as trusted strategic partners, offering sector-specific insights that shape our direction and impact within the clean energy and renewables space. This role is best suited for senior professionals with deep energy-sector expertise who want to give back, influence a purpose-driven mission, and expand their own board-level experience.

The member will serve an initial term of one year, with the opportunity for renewal based on mutual interest and organizational alignment.

What You'll DoWe seek three Advisory Board Members from Canada, USA, and India to offer strategic insight and industry influence on energy and renewables, while supporting small and mid-sized businesses operating in or transitioning toward this sector. This voluntary, part-time role is ideal for senior energy leaders looking to contribute to a mission-driven organization and gain board-level experience.

While specific responsibilities may vary depending on APMAC's strategic plan, we anticipate that you will primarily be involved in shaping:

· Provide strategic input and guidance on regional and global business development efforts within the energy and renewables sector.

· Share insights on clean energy trends, regulatory and policy developments, and market shifts relevant to SMBs in energy, cleantech, and renewables.

· Help expand APMAC's influence and visibility by leveraging personal networks and senior-level connections across the energy and renewables ecosystem.





· Support cross-border partnerships and collaboration opportunities across public, private, and non-profit sectors in energy transition initiatives.

· Participate in monthly and quarterly virtual board meetings and ad hoc strategic discussions as needed.

· Serve as a regional ambassador, promoting APMAC's mission within local and international energy and sustainability ecosystems.

Compensation Structure To recognize and appropriately reward impactful contributions, APMAC offers a performance-based recognition structure under the following conditions:

- Success-Based Honorarium for Strategic IntroductionsAdvisory Board Members may be eligible to receive a success-based honorarium or incentive for qualified opportunities introduced that lead to material business outcomes for APMAC. These may include:

· Introduced clients, partners, or collaborators in the energy/renewables space that result in signed engagements or strategic alliances.





· New business development opportunities arising from the advisor's professional network in energy, cleantech, or renewables.

· Market access or expansion opportunities that generate measurable results.

All qualifying introductions must be documented through a formal referral acknowledgment, agreed upon in writing prior to engagement, and will be subject to a success evaluation process conducted by APMAC.

- Pathway to a Paid Advisory RoleFollowing the successful completion of the initial one-year term, and based on demonstrated contribution, advisors may be considered for a renewed term that may include:

· A modest annual honorarium.

· Ongoing success-based incentives for strategic input and relationship-led growth.

· Consideration for equity-linked recognition, at APMAC's discretion and subject to board approval.

Preferred Credentials· 25+ years of professional experience in energy, renewables, cleantech, utilities, or related sectors (e.g., solar, wind, battery storage, grid modernization, energy policy).

· Experience in Manufacturing and New Age Industries.

· Held senior leadership roles (e.g., Executive, Director, Partner, Founder, CxO) with strategic decision-making authority in the energy sector.

· Demonstrated thought leadership and strong understanding of energy transition, decarbonization, or renewable innovation as it relates to SMBs.

· Extensive industry connections and senior-level relationships within the energy and renewables ecosystem in your region.

· Prior experience on advisory boards, executive councils, or energy industry groups is an asset.

· Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced degrees (MBA, MSc Energy, PhD) or professional certifications (e.g., PE, PMP, CFA) are considered strong assets.

· Passionate about the clean energy transition and inclusive, sustainable economic growth.
