Ironwood Modular Solutions is looking for a motivated and reliable Plumber Apprentice to join our plumbing team in our current modular manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will have a basic knowledge of plumbing processes combined with hands-on experience working under a Plumbing Supervisor. This role involves installing and testing plumbing systems in residential modular homes.

We offer year-round employment in a controlled environment, a company pension plan & full benefits, an overtime top-up of $3/hr, and a minimum of 3 weeks paid vacation.

Responsibilities

- Build plumbing subassemblies as required;

- Rough in plumbing supply and drain lines in floors and walls;

- Rough in plumbing for showers, tubs, and washer/dryer;

- Install vent stacks in walls and roof;

- Thoroughly inspect all connections;

- Install all sinks, taps, toilets, hot water tanks and any other plumbing fixtures;





- Follow National/Provincial Plumbing Code regulations;

- Participate in safe work practices

- Maintain positive, professional business relations with clients and coworkers

Requirements

- 2 + years experience as a plumber apprentice

- Completion of first and second year in-school apprenticeship training

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Need to be self-driven

- High attention to detail, work productively and take pride in workmanship

- Physically able to perform job duties (lifting, climbing ladders, working at heights)
