Work with Caledon Animal Shelter as an Assistant to the Animal Services team, dedicated to animal well-being and facility maintenance. This role offers dynamic daily tasks. You will report directly to the Supervisor, supporting daily operations to maintain a clean and safe environment for animals.

Responsibilities include general upkeep, feeding animals, and maintaining outdoor spaces. This position is perfect for those passionate about animal welfare and cleanliness. Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure cleanliness of kennel facilities and animal enclosures
- Conduct general housekeeping duties including laundry
- Prepare and serve food for animals, including special diets
- Engage with and exercise dogs and cats
- Assist with transportation of animals and supplies using a vehicle Requirements:
- Minimum one year of experience in animal care
- High school education required
- Willingness to obtain necessary vaccinations
- Clean G-Class driver’s license with minimal demerit points
- Solid ability to manage tasks and communicate effectively Contribute to animal welfare efforts while gaining experience at Caledon Animal Shelter.
