About the Role

Our client, a reputable commercial law firm, is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with expertise in Commercial Contracts to join their practice in Kimberley . This role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements for diverse clients. You will play an integral part in advising businesses on contractual risks and obligations, ensuring that agreements are legally sound and commercially viable. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong drafting skills and a keen eye for detail, contributing to the firm's ability to provide high-quality legal services in the Kimberley region, with the flexibility of remote work options.

Key Responsibilities

- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including supply agreements, service contracts, and partnership agreements.
- Advise clients on contractual terms, risks, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct legal research on contract law principles and related matters.
- Manage a portfolio of commercial contracts for multiple clients.




- Assist with corporate advisory work and general commercial law matters.
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions.

Requirements

- Admitted Attorney of the High Court with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in commercial contract law .
- Proven ability to draft complex commercial agreements with precision and clarity.
- Solid understanding of contract principles and commercial law in South Africa.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and client management abilities, suitable for a remote or hybrid working model.
