This is a full time hybrid role for an Associate Family Lawyer located in Mississauga, ON with work-from-home flexibility.

Responsibilities include representing clients in family law matters such as divorce, decision making, parenting time and support, as well as drafting legal documents, participating in mediations and court appearances, and providing legal advice.

The Associate Family

Lawyer will also be responsible for having carriage of their own files as well as assist Senior Counsel with more complex trials and cases.

The ideal candidate must have experience in family law and litigation. Trial experience preferred.

- Skills in representing clients in family law matters
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and trial preparation
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with client relationship management
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of family law and relevant court procedures
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
