Great exhibits don't happen because someone can simply draw a line in CAD. They happen because someone can look at a creative idea and start figuring out how it will actually be built. We're looking for a AutoCAD Detailer to join our team and help turn creative concepts into detailed, buildable solutions for experiential marketing, trade shows, events, and branded environments.

This is an opportunity for someone early in their detailing career who has a solid foundation in AutoCAD, enjoys solving technical problems, and wants to learn from experienced Designers, Detailers, Project Managers, and Fabricators.

You'll take creative concepts and help develop the drawings and details that allow our teams to move a project from the screen to the shop — and ultimately onto the show floor.

What You'll Do

- Develop 2D and 3D CAD drawings, including plans, elevations, details, assembly drawings, and setup drawings.
- Help translate creative designs into practical, buildable solutions.
- Develop and update 3D models and components for fabrication and production.
- Create detailed drawings with dimensions, materials, finishes, hardware, and other relevant information.
- Detail components for fabrication, CNC cutting, assembly, transportation, and installation.




- Support the development of setup and installation drawings that help field teams assemble exhibits and experiences.
- Work with Designers to understand creative intent and identify practical ways to bring designs to life.
- Partner with Project Management and experienced Detailers to address technical questions and keep projects moving.
- Collaborate with Fabrication to understand how designs translate from CAD into the shop.
- Support graphics teams with accurate elevations and graphic-placement information.
- Assist with detailing solutions involving lighting, AV, electrical, flooring, staging, and other exhibit components.
- Research materials, products, hardware, and fabrication methods as needed.
- Maintain and update CAD libraries, parts, layouts, and commonly used components.
- Learn and apply relevant fabrication standards, ADA requirements, building codes, and show-floor requirements.
- Look for opportunities to improve drawings, processes, and detailing standards.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone with a strong technical foundation and a genuine interest in learning how things are designed and built.
- 1–3 years of CAD/detailing experience in exhibits, experiential marketing, architectural fabrication, millwork, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D; exposure to 3D AutoCAD is a plus.
- Basic understanding of drafting, dimensioning, and drawing standards.
- Familiarity with materials such as wood, laminate, plastics, metals, or other fabrication materials is a plus.
- Basic understanding of how drawings translate into fabrication and assembly.
- Exposure to CNC, manufacturing, or fabrication processes is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good problem-solving skills and a practical approach to technical challenges.




- Robust communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable asking questions, learning from others, and taking feedback.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
