Reliable power systems are critical to the performance and safety of advanced robotic platforms. Our battery production team builds and tests the battery systems that power these technologies.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and hands-on technical work.

The Role The Battery Production Technician will assemble, test, inspect, and prepare lithium-ion battery systems used to power advanced robotic technologies.

This is a hands-on production role requiring strong attention to detail, soldering experience, and the ability to consistently follow technical instructions and safety procedures.

You will work as part of our battery production team and report to the Head of Battery Production.

What You Will Work On

Battery Assembly and Integration

- Assemble lithium-ion battery packs according to technical specifications and work instructions.
- Perform spot welding, soldering, crimping, wiring, and battery pack integration.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely and accurately.
- Prepare materials and components for production.

Testing and Quality Inspection
- Conduct electrical testing, including voltage, resistance, continuity, and functionality verification.
- Inspect battery packs and components for quality, accuracy, and compliance with production standards.
- Identify and report production or quality issues.
- Maintain accurate production, testing, and inspection records.

Production and Safety
- Label, package, and prepare completed products for shipment.




- Follow established safety procedures when handling batteries, electrical equipment, and production tools.
- Keep the production area clean, organized, and operating efficiently.
- Assist with inventory management and other production support activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, safety, and operational efficiency.

Core Requirements
- Soldering experience.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to read and follow assembly instructions, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
- Basic computer skills for recording production and testing data.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Dependable, organized, and safety-conscious.
- Ability to work on-site in Mississauga, Ontario.

Nice to Have
- Previous experience in electronics assembly, battery manufacturing, or a related production environment.
- Experience working with lithium-ion batteries.
- Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and quality inspection processes.
- Experience in aerospace, robotics, automotive, or advanced manufacturing.
