Role Description This full-time, on-site Bilingual Associate Lawyer role is based in Rockland, ON. The successful candidate will manage a caseload in family law, employment law, real estate, and wills and estates, including client consultations, legal research, drafting pleadings and agreements, and representing clients in negotiations and court proceedings. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing legal documents, coordinating with support staff, maintaining organized files, and ensuring deadlines are met.

The associate will communicate with clients in both English and French,



provide clear legal advice, and contribute to firm initiatives, professional development, and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

- Strong legal research, analysis, and drafting abilities across family law, litigation, real estate, and wills and estates.
- Effective client-facing skills, including interviewing, advising, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
- Sound time management, organization, and file management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small team and exercise professional judgment independently.
- Law degree (LL.B. or J.D.) and membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario, or eligibility to be licensed.
- Previous experience or strong interest in family law, civil litigation, real estate transactions, and estate planning considered an asset.
