The BIM Modeller will support the Elevated Guideways and Stations Contract (“EGS”) of The Ontario Line ("OL"). The Primary Construction Team for this project consists of ACCIONA Infrastructure Canada Inc. (ACCIONA) and Amico Major Projects Inc. (Amico), as Trillium Guideway Partners (TGP).

As a BIM Modeler with 4D capabilities, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate and detailed 3D models and supporting construction sequencing by linking model elements to the project schedule. This role remains primarily focused on BIM modeling, with added responsibility for 4D BIM support, including phasing, sequencing, and site logistics visualization. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, planners, construction teams, and BIM Coordinators to ensure models are compliant with project standards, support constructability reviews, and contribute to efficient project delivery.

Responsibilities

- Model Creation: Develop detailed 3D models using software such as Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, based on design inputs and specifications.
- Model Updates: Incorporate design changes and updates into models as directed by the design team or BIM Coordinator.
- 4D BIM Sequencing: Link model elements to the project schedule to create, update, and maintain 4D construction sequencing simulations.
- Construction Phasing and Logistics: Support visual planning of work areas, access routes, temporary works, staging, and site constraints using 4D model outputs.
- Clash Detection Support: Assist in identifying and resolving model clashes using tools like Navisworks.
- Documentation: Generate 2D drawings, schedules, and other deliverables from BIM models.
- Data Management:



Ensure model data is accurate, structured, and aligned with project requirements and naming conventions.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with other modelers and disciplines to ensure model consistency and integration.
- Quality Control: Conduct self-checks and participate in model reviews to maintain high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Basic understanding of Architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
- Proficiency in BIM software: Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks.
- 4D BIM capability: Ability to support construction sequencing by linking 3D model elements to project schedule activities using tools such as Synchro, Navisworks Timeliner, or equivalent.
- Construction sequencing: Working knowledge of project schedules, phasing logic, activity sequencing, and progress visualization for infrastructure works.
- Understanding BIM standards: such as ISO 19650 and modeling best practices.
- 2D and 3D documentation: Ability to extract accurate drawings and schedules from models.
- Data management: Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDEs) like ProjectWise, Autodesk Forma, Procore and Asite.
- Clash detection support: Basic knowledge of identifying and resolving model conflicts




- Model accuracy: Ability to maintain model integrity and follow naming conventions and project standards.
