Position Summary The BOP Service Technician is responsible for shop and field equipment maintenance and servicing. This position will also be required to complete all other operational tasks as directed by the Base Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Complete field rig ups and tear downs of BOP’s and frac heads

BOP servicing, troubleshooting and repairs

Service and provide maintenance to all Aero equipment, including shop and field repairs

Complete post-job equipment servicing work orders and submit to billing clerk in a timely fashion

Provide or arrange technical support for oil and service company personnel as well as other Aero rental shops

Complete daily crane and forklift inspections

Assist management in day to day operations in all aspects for Aero requirements,



including other items not mentioned above

Other duties as assigned

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Previous site knowledge of drilling or completion activities is an asset

Previous BOP service and repair experience an asset

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to take initiative and work with limited supervision

Must be safety oriented

Solid trouble shooting and research skills

Valid Driver’s License

Fork Lift Training considered an asset

Over Crane Certified considered an asset

Other duties as required
