Role Description The Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a full time, on-site role based in Edmonton, AB. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The CPA will manage tax preparation and filings, including corporate, payroll, and sales taxes,



while monitoring changes in tax laws that may impact the business.

Day-to-day tasks include maintaining general ledgers, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and providing financial insights to management for decision-making. The CPA will also collaborate with internal teams on project costing, job profitability analysis, and financial controls to support the company’s remediation and construction activities.

Qualifications

- CPA designation (or equivalent accounting certification)
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Solid knowledge of Canadian accounting practices, GST, and payroll
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks) and strong Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management
- Clear communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
