The Claims Administrator provides administrative and processing support for HSM’s claims department. This is a non-client-facing position responsible for maintaining accurate claim records, coordinating information with insurers and adjusters, completing administrative tasks, and ensuring claims files are kept current and organized.

The successful candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with confidential information, and able to manage multiple claims and deadlines.

Key Duties &

- Responsibilities

- Claims Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date claim files.
- Process and document claim activity promptly.
- Lloyds claims administrator
- Track outstanding information and follow-ups.
- Ensure all relevant correspondence and documentation is properly recorded.
- Internal Support
- Provide administrative support to brokers
- Respond to internal requests for claim information.
- Ensure claim information is available to the appropriate HSM staff when needed.
- Accuracy &
- Compliance (audits)
- Maintain high attention to detail when entering and reviewing claim information.
- Follow established procedures and insurer requirements.
- Protect confidential information and maintain appropriate documentation.

Qualifications &

- Skills





- Previous insurance, claims, or administrative experience is an asset.
- Insurance experience and/or a Level 1 or Level 2 licence is an asset.
- EPIC broker management experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable working with large volumes of information and multiple deadlines.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Qualified and confident when communicating with insurers and adjusters.
- Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
- Strong follow-through and ability to keep outstanding tasks moving.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Schedule

- Monday to Friday8:30am – 4:30 pm or 9 am to 5 pm
- In office position –
- No remote opportunity
