Impact families and youth as a Client Care Assistant in our Youth Transitional Supportive Program. This part time opportunity is based in Edmonton, focused on improving youth wellbeing.

Working with Recovery Alberta, you will provide necessary support to adolescents navigating mental health and substance use issues. Your role will emphasize rapport-building and empathy while monitoring youth and assisting them with daily routines. Engaging in recreational activities and collaborating with families are crucial components of this fulfilling position.

Key Responsibilities: • Engage directly with youth in daily care • Support activities promoting healthy living and recovery • Assist in intakes, discharges, and case management processes • Facilitate family visits and educational activities • Maintain a neat environment through housekeeping tasks

Requirements: • Completion of Grade 12 and BCLS-HCP qualification • Minimum two years experience in group care for youth • Proficient in nonviolent crisis intervention techniques • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite • Driver's License and access to a vehicle
