Clinical Intern (Temporary 1 year – NOHFC Funded) – Internal / External Posting

Jubilee Centre(CJC), located in Timmins, Ontario, is a specialized live-in, community-basedaddiction & mental health agency offering high intensity, medicallysupported MH Crisis & WMS, Intensive Recovery-oriented Treatment &Rehabilitation; Services, Primary Care, temporary housing and supports togetherwithin an integrated modified therapeutic community environment. We are seekinghighly motivated and energetic individuals to fill this position in ourInterdisciplinary Client Care Team.

Summary of Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting tothe Clinical Director / Clinical Supervisor, the Clinical Intern is an integraltemporary member of the Client Care Team funded through the Northern OntarioHeritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC Workforce Development Stream). The ClinicalIntern provides supportive clinical care across agency programs, services, andcommunity care pathways. Under supervisor guidance, the intern assists withinitial client screenings, intake, care planning, referral coordination, crisisde-escalation assistance, and milieu management. Additionally, the intern playsa key role in assisting with newly implemented clinical data software tosupport the transition and optimization of digital document processes whileensuring compliance with PHIPA standards and any other duties as required.

Qualifications

- · Recent graduate or candidateenrolled in/holding a College Diploma or University Degree in a Human Servicesdiscipline (e.g., Social Service Worker, Addictions/Mental Health, Psychology,Nursing, or related field).
- · Eligible for NOHFC WorkforceDevelopment Stream internship criteria.
- · Demonstrated knowledge offundamental concepts in addiction, mental health, concurrent disorders, andtrauma-informed care.




- · Familiarity or comfort withclinical data software, digital electronic records systems, and PHIPAcompliance standards.
- · Strong interpersonal, activelistening, and crisis de-escalation skills.
- · Ability to work effectivelyboth independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- · Knowledge of cultural safetyand trauma-informed care for Francophone and Indigenous (First Nation, Métis,Inuit) communities.
- · Possess a valid Class GDriver's License (asset).

Wages and Benefits

Wages are basedon the NOHFC funding agreement ($24.00 per hour) Benefitsare in accordance with our Collective Bargaining Agreement.
