Role Description The Condominium Manager (Etobicoke) is a full-time, on-site role located in Etobicoke, ON, overseeing the daily operations of a residential condominium property. The Manager is responsible for coordinating building maintenance and repairs, supervising on-site staff and contractors, and ensuring common areas are kept safe, clean, and well-maintained. This role includes managing resident inquiries and concerns, preparing and implementing building policies and procedures, and supporting the Board of Directors with reports, meeting preparation, and follow-up on action items.
The Manager monitors budgets and expenses, assists with financial planning, and ensures compliance with relevant condominium legislation and regulations. The position requires regular on-site presence,
effective communication with residents and vendors, and proactive problem-solving to maintain smooth and efficient building operations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in condominium or property management, including day-to-day building operations and resident relations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with residents, Board members, staff, and contractors.
- Solid organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
- Basic financial and administrative skills, including familiarity with budgets, invoices, reports, and record-keeping.
- Knowledge of condominium legislation and property management best practices in Ontario, or willingness to learn.
- Proficiency with common office software (email, word processing, spreadsheets) and property management systems is an asset.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and sound judgment when handling building issues and resident concerns.
- Relevant professional designation or coursework in property or condominium management (e.g., RCM, ACMO courses) is considered an asset.
- Availability to work on-site full-time and respond to occasional after-hours building issues as required.
