Consulting Administrator

The Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association (SPRA) is growing its Consulting Team and is seeking a collaborative and detail-orientated professional to join us as Consulting Administrator for a one-year term. This role is ideal for someone with strong coordination, communication, and administration skills who is passionate about supporting impactful work that strengthens parks, recreation, and communities across Saskatchewan.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the operational and administration actions of the SPRA Consulting Team. Includes responding to inquires, communication, quality assurance reviews, database and file management, and processing invoices and payments.
- Support partnership development, advocacy efforts, and the coordination, promotion, facilitation and evaluation of Consulting Team led or attended events, meetings, and tradeshows.
- Moderate and engage with SPRA’s online network of parks and recreation providers.
- Create and share marketing and communications materials that promote Consulting Team services, including success stories, social media content, website updates, and promotional resources.
- Monitor industry research, trends, emerging issues, and best practices related to recreation, parks, and community development, to make informed recommendations for planning and decision-making.
You’ll Thrive If You Bring:
- Education or experience in Kinesiology,
Health Studies, Recreation Administration, Community Development, or Business Administration.
- At least two years of related experience and a strong understanding of Saskatchewan’s recreation and parks delivery system.
- Strong program administration, event coordination, and communication skills.
- Confidence using technology and digital tools, including the Microsoft 365 Suite, Eventbrite, and databases.
- An ability to collaborate with peers in a hybrid (virtual) work workplace.
- Personal values that align with the role parks and recreation play in supporting healthy, connected communities.
