The role As a Dash 8 First Officer, you will support the Pilot-in-Command through all phases of flight with safety, passenger comfort and on-time performance as top priorities. You will operate in a dynamic, northern regional environment, gaining the experience and mentorship to progress toward a Captain upgrade.

What you’ll do - Operate in strict compliance with CARs, Standard Operating Procedures, the Aircraft Flight Manual, and the Company Operations Manual.

- Assist the Pilot-in-Command with all cockpit procedures; conduct take-offs and landings under the Captain’s authority.
- Fuel the aircraft and complete thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections on the Captain’s behalf.
- Load, unload, and secure cargo and freight as required.




- Continuously develop technical knowledge and airmanship to meet and exceed Transport Canada pilot qualification standards with the goal of upgrading to Captain.
- Perform additional duties as assigned. What you bring - High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Licence: Either a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with valid IATRA written exam, or an ATPL (ICAO-equivalent acceptable).
- Minimum 500 hours total flight time.
- Category 1 Medical.
- Current Group 1 Instrument Rating.
- Fluency in English with strong verbal and listening comprehension.
- Ability to obtain and maintain applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations.
- Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training is an asset; a high level of respect and understanding for First Nations communities is essential.
