In this energetic position, you'll be responsible for meticulously sterilizing dental instruments, managing infection control protocols, and supporting the overall workflow of the dental practice. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining compliance with health standards.

Responsibilities

- Properly clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments using approved methods and equipment
- Prepare instrument trays and ensure all tools are correctly assembled for various dental procedures
- Monitor sterilization cycles to confirm proper functioning and document all processes accurately
- Manage inventory and reorder supplies as needed
- Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure patient safety
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized sterilization area in compliance with health regulations and over all dental equipment maintenance.




- Collaborate with dental staff to coordinate instrument turnaround times efficiently

Qualifications

- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental procedures and infection control practices
- Prior experience in a healthcare or dental sterilization setting is preferred but not required
- Robust attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety guidelines rigorously
- Valuable communication skills to work effectively within a team environment
- Certification or training in sterilization techniques is a plus but not mandatory

Pay: $16.97-$22.00 per hour
