Duties

- Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in English and Math, tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style
- Develop customized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student goals
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to ensure continuous improvement
- Support students in developing strong writing skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Incorporate multilingual skills (Mandarin, French, Spanish, Japanese) to enhance communication and understanding for diverse learners
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and confidence-building




- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress reports, and session notes to track development over time

Qualifications

- Proven experience working with children or young learners in tutoring or classroom settings
- Strong proficiency in English; additional language skills such as Mandarin, French, Spanish, or Japanese are highly desirable
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively
- Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Prior classroom experience or tutoring experience is preferred but not required
- Passion for education and helping students achieve their academic goals
- Ability to communicate effectively across different cultures and language backgrounds
