Sleep Shop is a family-owned business that has been serving customers since 1979. For more than 45 years, we have built our reputation on expertise, trust and helping customers find the right sleep solution.

We are looking for an experienced, proven sales qualified who knows how to close.

This is not an entry-level sales position. We are looking for someone who has spent years developing their sales skills, is comfortable working independently, knows how to read a customer, overcome objections, ask for the sale and consistently produce results.

You will be given the product knowledge, tools and support you need — but we are looking for someone who already knows how to sell.

This is a base salary + commission position with strong earning potential for a high performer.

What You'll Do

- Own the customer experience from initial conversation through to closing the sale
- Quickly understand customer needs and confidently recommend the right solution
- Build value and sell premium products without relying solely on price
- Handle objections and confidently ask for the sale
- Follow up effectively with customers who don't purchase on their first visit
- Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales targets




- Develop strong product knowledge and use it to educate customers
- Maintain a professional, organized and welcoming showroom

Who We're Looking For

- 5+ years of proven commissioned sales experience
- A demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong closing and objection-handling skills
- Experience with high-ticket, premium or luxury products is strongly preferred
- Comfortable selling products worth several thousand dollars
- Competitive, self-motivated and driven by results
- Able to work independently without constant supervision
- Confident, professional and comfortable asking for the business
- Strong follow-up habits and personal accountability
- Available to work Saturday and Sunday plus three weekdays

Experience in mattress or furniture sales is not required. We can teach you our products. We are looking for someone who already understands how to sell.

Compensation

Base salary + commission

Your earning potential increases directly with your performance.

Pay: $4,000.00 per month

Experience

- retail/commission sales: 5 years (required)
