Adecco is currently hiring a Forklift Operator for a full-time opportunity in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in forklift operation, material handling, shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, and production support.

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement of materials throughout the facility while supporting manufacturing, inventory, and shipping operations. If you are safety-focused, reliable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

- Pay Rate: $22/hour

- Location: Fergus, ON

- Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products and materials.

- Perform shipping, receiving, packing, unpacking, sorting, counting, and weighing activities.

- Assist with inventory control, order preparation, and material replenishment.

- Support the repackaging of materials and products as required.

- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse, shipping, and production areas.

- Follow all workplace health, safety,



and operational procedures.

- Assist with inventory counts, material verification, and other warehouse duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment.

- Forklift certification or proven forklift operating experience.

- Experience with shipping and receiving, material handling, or warehouse operations.

- Ability to lift 25-30 kg (55-66 lbs) on a regular basis.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and strong work ethic.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Commitment to workplace safety and safe material handling practices.

- Inventory control experience is considered an asset.

- Robust problem-solving and critical-thinking skills is considered an asset.

- Experience working with plastic resin materials is considered an asset.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word is considered an asset.

- Material testing experience is considered an asset.

- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
