We are currently hiring General Labour Associates for our client in Winnipeg, Manitoba, a leading restoration company specializing in emergency restoration, reconstruction, and remodeling.

This is a hands‑on position involving property restoration, demolition, cleaning, content handling, and general labour duties. The successful candidate will respond to emergency situations involving property damage caused by fire, water, storms, and/or mold while ensuring safe and effective operations.

Job Responsibilities

You may be responsible for:
- Working safely in residential and commercial properties damaged by fire, water, storms, and/or mold.
- Performing cleaning processes for damaged contents and structures.
- Removing contents for cleaning, restoration, or disposal.
- Performing demolition of structurally damaged areas using hand and power tools.
- Cleaning and organizing assigned job sites after demolition work.
- Maintaining, unloading, and reloading assigned vehicles with equipment and supplies.
- Removing garbage and handling damaged or recoverable contents.
- Keeping work areas clean, safe, and organized.




- Unloading and disposing of trash in assigned areas.
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Performing other general labour and restoration duties as assigned.

Work Environment

- Work is performed primarily in residential and commercial properties affected by fire, water, storms, mold, and other types of damage.
- May involve working in hazardous or challenging environments.
- Fast‑paced and physically demanding work environment.
- Working at heights may be required.
- Regular standing, walking, bending, lifting, and physical activity.
- Weekend work may be required depending on emergency restoration needs.

We're Looking For

- High School Diploma required.
- Previous restoration industry experience is preferred.
- One or more years of experience within the restoration industry is an asset.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in hazardous environments.
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
- Proven experience working at heights.
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety focused.
- Comfortable working in physically demanding environments.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently walk, bend, stoop, and lift.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Comfortable performing physically demanding and repetitive tasks.
- Ability to wear required respiratory protection and other PPE.

Pre-Employment & Safety Requirements

- High School Diploma required.
- Must successfully pass a fit test and be able to wear face respirators.
- PPE and CSA-approved safety shoes are required.
- Must follow all required workplace health and safety procedures.
- Ability to safely work in environments affected by fire, water, storms, mold, and other property damage.
