Position Overview

Mercedes-Benz Boundary is looking for a GeneralManager to lead the dealership with a explicit focus on customer experience,variable performance, and team development.

This is a hands-on leadership role. The successful candidatewill be actively involved in the day-to-day business, driving salesperformance, building a strong appointment culture, and ensuring the team isaligned, accountable, and focused on results.

This role reports directly to the Director of Operations andis responsible for the overall performance of the dealership, with a strongemphasis on Variable Operations.

We are open to developing the right candidate. PreviousGeneral Manager experience is not required, but a solid foundation within anautomotive dealership is essential.

Compensation for this position is commission based.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities





- Lead the dealership with a variable-drivenmindset, focused on volume, gross, and disciplined inventory management
- Build, coach, and develop a high-performing teamacross sales and supporting departments
- Drive a robust appointment culture and ensureconsistent execution from lead to delivery
- Be actively involved in the business — deskingdeals, supporting managers, and working with the team on the floor
- Ensure dealership processes are followed,reinforced, and continuously improved
- Create accountability through daily and weeklyperformance reviews and structured meetings
- Maintain a high level of customer focus acrossall touchpoints
- Work closely with department leaders to alignstrategy, execution, and results
- Represent the dealership with professionalism tocustomers, staff, and manufacturer partners

Qualifications Required

- Experience working within an automotivedealership environment is required (Sales Manager, GSM, General Manager orsimilar)
- Strong understanding of how a dealershipoperates, particularly within Variable Operations
- Proven ability to drive performance, coachpeople, and build a team culture
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-onenvironment
- Customer-focused, competitive, andresults-driven
- Willing to learn, adapt, and execute within astructured approach
- Strong communication and leadership presence
- Experience with dealership systems (180, CDK, orequivalent) is an asset
- Valid VSA License (or ability to obtain)
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
