Extendicare is hiring for a Healthcare Aide who will work closely under the supervision of the Director of Health & Wellness. This position involves adhering to care plans, assisting with daily activities, and providing psychological support to residents. You will play an essential role in creating a respectful and safe workplace for seniors, while also ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:



• Follow the care plan set by the supervisor • Assist residents with personal care and daily living tasks • Report any significant changes in client conditions • Help facilitate transfers and mobility of residents • Maintain confidentiality of resident information

Requirements: • Registration with the College of Health Care Aides in Alberta • Completion of Health Care Aide program with practicum hours • Experience working with elderly clients in health settings • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Current Basic Life Support and Criminal Background Check
