OEM Remanufacturing is seeking a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic to excel in maintaining Caterpillar mining equipment. This role offers a secure afternoon shift in a climate-controlled workshop environment. As a critical member of the team, you will report to the Production Manager and handle the disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of equipment from a variety of Caterpillar models.

A strong background in mining machinery and the ability to conduct precise inspections will be key in this position. Safety and quality are paramount. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct disassembly and assembly of equipment components
- Ensure all work is carried out safely in the shop
- Diagnose failures in collaboration with technical services
- Aim for cost-savings through reusability and salvage
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned Requirements:
- Must have HET or Millwright Journeyperson credentials
- Previous experience with Caterpillar equipment appreciated
- Skills in precision measurement and rigging
- Capability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly
