HVAC Installer – Heat Pumps, Ductless & Residential HVAC

JP Home Comfort is hiring HVAC Installers to join our growing installation team. We are looking for experienced lead installers as well as intermediate installers who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-based environment.

We currently have a large out-of-town heat pump project requiring installers who are available to travel and stay near the project location for extended periods. Accommodation will be arranged/provided by the company for the project. After completion of this project, ongoing installation work will be available throughout the GTA and surrounding areas.

What You'll Be Installing

- Ductless heat pump / mini-split systems
- Heat pump and air handler systems
- Ducted heat pumps and central HVAC systems
- Furnaces and air conditioners
- Tankless and conventional water heaters
- Other residential HVAC equipment

Responsibilities

- Complete HVAC installations safely, efficiently and to company/manufacturer standards
- Install indoor and outdoor heat pump equipment, air handlers and ductless systems
- Install and connect refrigerant line sets, drains, controls and related components
- Perform pressure testing, vacuuming, start-up and commissioning as applicable to your role/licensing
- Work effectively as part of an installation crew
- Maintain qualified workmanship and clean job sites
- Complete required installation documentation and job photos
- Travel to customer and project locations as assigned

Requirements

- Previous hands-on HVAC installation experience required




- Ability to work with hand and power tools
- Valid driver's license preferred
- G2/G3 and ODP are assets but are not required for all positions.
- 313D/313A or registered HVAC/refrigeration apprenticeship is an additional asset, but not required.
- Must be dependable, safety-conscious and able to work efficiently as part of a team
- Must be willing and able to travel for the current out-of-town project and stay near the project location for extended periods
- Compensation
- $180–$300 per day, depending on experience, role and productivity
- Certain installation work may be compensated on a piece-rate/production basis
- Opportunities for increased earnings based on experience and production
- Accommodation arranged/provided for qualifying out-of-town project assignments

Work Location

This is an on-the-road position. The current project requires extended out-of-town travel. Following completion of the project, ongoing work will primarily be throughout the GTA and surrounding areas.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $180.00-$300.00 per day
