Role Details

Role Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday through Saturday (5 days a week),

Compensation: $25.00 – $30.00/hour

Location: 3905 Major Mackenzie Drive West

Supporting hygienists so they can focus on patient care

What You’ll Be Doing As a Hygiene Coordinator, you’ll be at the center of both the patient journey and the clinical workflow.

Your day‑to‑day will include

Greeting patients and creating a warm, welcoming front desk experience

Managing phone calls, inquiries, and efficient appointment booking

Coordinating and optimizing the hygiene schedule, including re‑care and patient flow

Proactively filling gaps through recall, reactivation, and short‑call lists

Supporting hygienists by ensuring schedules are productive and well‑balanced

Managing and maintaining accurate patient records and database integrity

Processing insurance claims, billing, and follow‑ups with providers

Identifying opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency and patient flow

Collaborating with the clinical team to ensure a seamless, high‑quality patient experience

Helping maintain systems and protocols that keep the clinic running smoothly

You’ll be the person who brings structure, clarity, and flow to every day.

What You Bring

Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental clinic environment

Strong understanding of dental billing, insurance, and front desk operations

Experience with hygiene scheduling, re‑care, and patient flow (strong asset)

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Cleardent experience is an asset)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast‑paced workplace A positive, team‑oriented attitude with a patient‑first mindset
