Role Description The Law Clerk will support lawyers in family law and litigation practice in a full-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with legal research, drafting and formatting legal documents, organizing case files, and maintaining accurate records.

The Law

Clerk will help prepare correspondence and court materials, coordinate deadlines, and liaise with clients, courts, and other stakeholders as needed. The role also involves managing document filing systems, scheduling, and ensuring that all materials are prepared in accordance with firm standards and applicable regulations.

Qualifications





- Experience in family law is required
- Experience in litigation is a bonus
- Strong foundational knowledge legal procedures, forms, filing processes and etc.
- Proficiency in Document Preparation, including drafting, formatting, and reviewing legal documents.
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with clients, courts, and internal team members.
- Advanced Writing skills for explicit, accurate, and concise legal correspondence and documentation.
- Certificate or diploma in Law Clerk, Paralegal Studies, or a related legal program. Alternatively, experience as a legal assistant.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment and handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Proficiency with legal software, document management systems, and standard office applications.
