As an LPN/RPN you are enthusiastic about Making Lives Better and promote Happier Aging. You are passionate about bringing peace of mind to your client’s life and their families. You work closely with your Care Designer to create a premium experience and deliver on client care goals.

Responsibilities And Duties

- Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal tactfully with clients, other interdisciplinary team members
- Reviews the care plans arranged by Care Designer prior to beginning a visit, completing records accurately and carrying out all assignments as requested
- Provide Delegations of Task or other training to a care team




- Assess client needs and report back to Care Designer with recommendation on complex care plans
- Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the
- Nursing tasks include – medication administration, wound care, head to toe assessment, vital signs, pain assessment, liaising with physicians, diabetic management
- Responds to Care Services Center (CSC) Team regarding scheduling inquiries and updates within the agreed upon timeline
- Help clients with their ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) that is within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide
- Meets safety standards, using equipment safely and accurately
- We provide care 24/7, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our clients’ needs
- Service the North and West Vancouver areas

Requirements

- You have to be COMPASSIONATE, KIND CARING & MAKING A DIFFERENCE in the life of a senior!
- Current valid LPN license in BC
- 1 year of nursing experience required; three years nursing experience preferred. Community, home health or medical/surgical experience preferred
- Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search within last 12 months
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within last 12 months
- Proof of double COVID 19 Vaccination
- First Aid/CPR certificate
- 2 Professional References
- Excellent written and verbal English skills. Other languages are an asset.
- Must be able to legally work in Canada to apply for this position
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is an asset
- Able to work multiple shifts of 2 to 8 hours per shift in both North and West Vancouver areas
