Create Stability. Build Opportunity. Change Lives.
Join Aunt Leah's Link Housing Program as a Link Program Coordinator and lead a team dedicated to helping young people transition from government care into safe, stable, and independent lives. Former youth in care face disproportionate barriers to housing stability, often navigating limited income, lack of tenancy experience, disrupted support networks, and the impacts of trauma, systemic oppression, and cultural disconnection.
In this leadership role, you will oversee the delivery and continuous development of housing supports that help young people secure and retain housing, prevent eviction, and build the skills and confidence needed for long-term independence. You’ll lead a passionate team, oversee complex government-funded programs, strengthen community and landlord partnerships, and ensure participants receive responsive, trauma-informed, and person-centered support.
If you are an experienced housing or social-service leader who combines strong program management with compassion, sound judgment, and a commitment to empowering marginalized youth, this is an opportunity to lead meaningful change and help ensure that every person impacted by foster care has the opportunity to thrive.
Job Summary
The Program Coordinator leads the LINK Housing Program, ensuring youth receive responsive, trauma-informed housing support and case management. This position supervises a team providing rental assistance, housing navigation, and eviction prevention services; oversees housing subsidies and funding from Reaching Home, BC Housing, and other partners; and builds strong relationships with landlords, funders, and community organizations to expand housing opportunities.
The Program Coordinator is responsible for program development, staff supervision, funding compliance, reporting, evaluation, and continuous improvement, ensuring services effectively support youth in achieving and maintaining long-term housing stability.
