Lube Truck Driver

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Project Manager and working under the general direction of the Manager, Equipment & Maintenance, the Lube Truck Driver operates and services a lube truck to perform preventive maintenance and lubrication activities on heavy equipment across multiple job sites.

Responsibilities include conducting equipment inspections, performing minor field repairs, replenishing fluids, maintaining service records, and supporting equipment maintenance programs to ensure optimal fleet performance, safety, and operational efficiency. This individual also maintains preventive maintenance schedules and carries out related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

- Drive a lube truck to various locations and perform servicing of gasoline and diesel powered vehicles and equipment, including fueling, lubrication, changing oil, changing air and oil filters.
- Perform a variety of servicing, lubrication, preventive maintenance inspections, and minor mechanical repairs on gasoline and diesel vehicles and equipment.




- Perform preventive maintenance according to assigned schedules for heavy equipment and the lube truck.
- Monitor records and track hours of service for assigned vehicles and the lube truck.
- Perform minor repairs on the lube truck and assigned equipment including leak repairs, and removal and installation of various parts.
- Replace hoses, fan belts, alternators, regulators, and batteries.
- Replace heavy equipment components including grader blades and cutting edges.
- Install fire extinguishers and safety equipment.

Requirements:

- One year of full time experience in performing servicing, preventive maintenance, vehicle and equipment inspection work, and minor mechanical repairs on automotive or diesel equipment or vehicles.
- Possession of a valid DZ driver’s license.
- Ability to frequently stoop, bend, and kneel.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to perform sustained and vigorous activities in a variety of environments, temperatures, and weather conditions.
