SUMMARY OF POSITION

Support manufacturing through delivery of raw materials and finished products to and from work cells within manufacturing areas using ERP and Warehouse management systems and tools. This position reports to the production manager.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Deliver Raw materials to production lines and work cells to facilitate manufacturing operations using various tools such as lift trucks, pump trucks, carts, bins, totes, and buckets.
- Support and prep manufacturing/equipment for changeovers as required.
- Set up work cells with appropriate raw materials and components.
- Scale and receive all finished products into ERP and WMS systems each shift.
- Support manufacturing lines and work cells: including the filling of hoppers and removal of finished product.
- Participate in inventory and cycle counts.
- Must perform duties in compliance with all safety rules and regulations, and report on any potential safety hazards.
- Dealing with quality concerns and issues in a timely manner.
- Communicate with shift leads,



operators, while leading requirements and issues.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Grade 12 Secondary School Graduate
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing workplace, preferably in a material handler role.
- Certified Forklift Operator (Expert Level)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good visual acuity
- Experience with scanning guns, ERP and WMS tools.
- Basic math skills, with a keen eye for accuracy and detail
- Understand and follow all health and safety procedures including safe operation of equipment.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision or interaction.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Ability to lift 20 lbs. consistently, and occasionally life up to 60 lbs.
- Continuous standing during a shift with frequent reaching, pulling, and bending.
