JOB OPPORTUNITY – Mental Health Social Worker Workplace : James Bay, Quebec

Term of office : From now until February 6, 2026 Shift: Day-evening-night

Full time position SFT Services is looking for a Social worker to occupy a position in mental health within the health network. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele in a stimulating environment.

Main responsibilities

- Assess the psychosocial situation of users and their families.
- Intervening with clients in difficulty (mental health, addiction, youth, elderly people, etc.).
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
- To provide support and guidance to users throughout their healthcare journey.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in social work or social service.




- Member in good standing of theOrder of Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists of Quebec (OTSTCFQ).
- Recent and relevant experience in the sector
- OCCI training
- Excellent listening, adaptability and teamwork skills.
- Availability to work full-time for the entire duration of the mandate.

Per diem: 50$/day worked
