MuleSoft – Sr. Tech Lead

Project Description

Coforge undertaking a core banking legacy modernization initiative, transitioning to Intellect Core Banking system. This transformation is focused on improving scalability, enhancing digital capabilities, and enabling seamless integration with upstream and downstream enterprise systems.

As part of this program, we areseeking a Senior MuleSoft Technical Lead to lead the integration and orchestration layer between multiple internal and external banking systems, with a strong focus on Commercial Banking capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in L3 solution architecture discussions and own the development of L4 (Low-Level) Design documents for MuleSoft-based integration solutions supporting Banking implementation.
- Lead the design and development of API-led integrations across System, Process, and Experience layers, including orchestration of end-to-end business flows.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership in MuleSoft development (Mule 4, Any point Platform), building REST/SOAP APIs, message-driven and event-based integrations.
- Design secure, scalable, and high-performance integration solutions for Commercial Banking, including modules such as Account Management, Payments, Access/Entitlement Management, and Customer Communications.




- Ensure integrations comply with enterprise architecture, security, data privacy, and regulatory standards, and align with the overall core banking modernization strategy.
- Coordinate and guide the MuleSoft delivery team through design walkthroughs, code reviews, and implementation support, working closely with core banking, architecture, security, QA, and delivery stakeholders.

Required Experience & Skills

Mandatory Experience

- Solid 10+ years of experience as a Senior MuleSoft Developer / Technical Lead in large enterprise integration programs.
- Demonstrated experience participating in L3 architecture discussions and independently owning L4 design documentation.
- Hands-on expertise in MuleSoft development and orchestration-layer design.
- Proven understanding of multi-layer MuleSoft architecture (System, Process, Experience layers).
- Prior experience in the domain of banking, specifically:
- Commercial Banking platforms and/or
- Account Management, EFT, Bill Payments, Access Management, User Communications and Cards
