For a Naturopathic Doctor, this creates an exciting and highly collaborative place to practice. Our NDs work alongside experienced naturopathic doctors, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals, with direct access to an in-house compounding pharmacy, in house phlebotomy, established diagnostic and specialty-testing pathways, custom therapeutics and a broader network of collaborative healthcare professionals.

Women’s health is one of NutriChem’s growing areas of clinical focus. We have developed significant experience and patient demand in perimenopause, menopause, hormone health and personalized care, and we are continuing to invest in growing this area of our practice.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for a clinically confident, personable and collaborative Naturopathic Doctor with some clinical experience and a robust foundation in women’s health.

The ideal candidate is curious, motivated to continue developing their clinical expertise and interested in being part of something bigger than their individual practice.



They are comfortable collaborating across disciplines and share our belief that naturopathic and conventional medicine can work together to provide exceptional patient care.

This opportunity is particularly well suited to a practitioner with experience or additional training in perimenopause, menopause and hormone health who is ready to take the next step in building their practice.

The Opportunity

This contract offers the chance to step into an established women’s health patient base while providing maternity and parental leave coverage for an established Naturopathic Doctor.

Alongside providing continuity of care, you will have the opportunity to develop your own patient base, build your professional reputation and grow your clinical expertise within NutriChem’s established collaborative healthcare environment.

You will have the opportunity to:

- Work with an established women’s health patient base while developing a patient base of your own.
- Build expertise in women’s health, perimenopause, menopause, hormone health and HRT.
- Learn alongside experienced Naturopathic Doctors with expertise in women’s health and complex patient care.
- Collaborate directly with pharmacists and gain exposure to prescription medications, hormone therapy, customized compounding and personalized therapeutics.
- Access established bloodwork, laboratory and specialty-testing pathways.
- Build your professional reputation through patient education, marketing, community events and educational opportunities.
- Build your own brand within the NutriChem brand while becoming part of a connected and cooperative healthcare community.

Qualifications

- Naturopathic Doctor registered and in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario
- Maintain all required professional registration and credentials throughout the contract




- Maintain professional liability/malpractice insurance meeting College requirements
- Must have met the College of Naturopaths of Ontario’s Standard of Practice for Prescribing, including successful completion of the Ontario Prescribing and Therapeutics Examination.

Preferred Experience

- Women’s health
- Perimenopause and menopause – including prescribing and managing menopausal hormone therapy
- Comfortable and confident with bloodwork – assessment of metabolic health, lipids, routine markers etc
- Comfortable with understanding optimal ranges of bloodwork
- Familiar with professional brand Supplement and nutraceutical dosing
- Integrative and collaborative healthcare
- A Menopause society practitioner certification or in progress of completing their certification is considered a strong asset.

- Contract Type: Independent Contractor - ND Associate
- Location: NutriChem Clinic, Ottawa, Ontario inperson visits as priority and virtual consultations available
- Practice: Existing patient continuity and new patient practice development
- Schedule: Contractor-determined availability coordinated with clinic resources and patient scheduling
- Compensation: Percentage-based contractor compensation structure; complete details provided during the candidate process
