Job Summary

Reporting to the Director, Retail Sales, the National Account Manager – Walmart (12-month Contract) is responsible for achieving annual volume targets associated within a designated retail account with direct Customer-facing account responsibility. As the visible leader for the Customer, the NAM – Walmart leads the strategic development, management, and execution of a Customer specific go-to-market approach.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop the annual business plan in support of annual goals and objectives.
- Develop and establish key business relationships taking the business to the next level and aiming at driving profitable volumes in support of both Branded and Private label products.
- Primary contact for the Customer. Develop and execute an aggressive merchandising support plan for all existing and new products, maximizing advertising and promotional activity.
- Development of Customer presentations and proposals including current product proposals, business reviews.
- Develop, prepare and present quarterly business status reports and plans to the Customer Management Team.
- Effectively manage and reconcile all rebates, allowances,



deductions, and receivables with the applicable trading partners.

Requirements

- University Degree or College Diploma with minimum 5-10 years of industry experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish relationship.
- Understands & practices “solution selling”; willingness to develop sales strategies and motivated to learn more.
- Working with Customer-based retail POS programs (i.e.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Ability to travel, as required
- Experience in Protein industry preferred.

Job Posting Range

- Hiring Range: CAD $84,070 - $120,220
- Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus allotment
- Please note that the expected hiring range provided is derived from a group of like roles within Sofina.

The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, skillset of the candidate and internal equity.
