Job Summary Provide direct support to health-care professionals and patients by performing a variety of assisting tasks. Maintain a safe, clean and organized care setting while following established policies and infection control practices. Number of Positions 5

Main Duties

- Assist with moving, transferring and positioning patients using safe handling techniques and equipment.
- Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting and feeding as directed by clinical staff.
- Prepare, transport and deliver patients, specimens, supplies and equipment within the facility.
- Clean, disinfect and sterilize equipment and patient areas, and maintain inventory of supplies.
- Take basic observations such as vital signs and record findings accurately in patient charts or electronic records.
- Support clinical and administrative staff with tasks including restocking, clerical duties and maintaining documentation.

Requirements

- Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
- Certificate or training in health services,



or completion of relevant on-the-job training is an asset.
- Previous experience in a health-care or caregiving environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing and moving patients for extended periods.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and maintain required immunizations.
- Basic computer literacy and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
