Company Description Manchester Rose Primary & Preventive Care is a Nurse Practitioner–led clinic located in Sherwood Park, Alberta, funded under the new NPPCP program. The clinic focuses on accessible primary and preventive health services for diverse patient populations. In addition to funded primary care, we have opportunities for Nurse Practitioners to work in virtual healthcare for men's health issues.

Role Description This is a part time OR full-time, virtual Nurse Practitioner role based anywhere in Alberta.

The Nurse

Practitioner will provide men's health virtual assessments specifically related to hormone therapy, hair loss, and erectile dysfunction treatments. Daily responsibilities include conducting phone appointments as scheduled, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and treatment planning. The role also involves patient education and documentation in the medical record.

The Nurse

Practitioner will support diverse patient groups while maintaining high standards of safety, ethics, and regulatory compliance, and in keeping with provided evidence-based protocols.

Make extra funds as a Nurse Practitioner, providing excellent care, from home, choose your own schedule within available hours, and choose the number of hours you wish to work weekly (15-45 hours). The work is easy and enjoyable, and can be done from your couch, or home office, as long as you have privacy to maintain confidentiality.





Must provide your own laptop, and a decent headset to use for calls. Software provided.

Qualifications

- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Alberta and eligibility to practice virtually
- Demonstrated clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions across diverse populations.
- Strong skills in patient education, health promotion, and preventive care, including chronic disease management and lifestyle counseling.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation, use of electronic medical records, and adherence to regulatory protocols and practice standards.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills for working with patients and managing virtual visits efficiently.
- Ability to manage a wide-ranging caseload, including new patient appointments, follow-up appointments, and those required for side effects, questions, or concerns.
- Experience or comfort working from home, autonomously. No sales or pushing treatment, just excellent care for patients following evidence-based protocols and ethical care.
- Master’s degree in Nursing or equivalent Nurse Practitioner preparation; experience in primary care, adult care, or family practice preferred. Experience in hormone health, or men's health would be helpful but is not necessary, as education and support will be provided.
